Holly Brewer

Owner of Holly’s Bodyworx

My Mission is to bridge the gap between traditional massage and medical care, helping clients experience freedom from pain, improved mobility, and a renewed sense of vitality.

Holly’s Bodyworx began in October 2021 in Apollo Beach, Florida. At the time, I was working in a spa but soon realized that I could better serve my clients by creating a space of my own.

I chose to focus on true therapeutic healing rather than routine relaxation massage. So, I took a leap of faith, rented a small space, and began building my own practice while still working part-time at the spa.

With a strong medical background, I brought a different perspective to massage therapy. I completed a full year in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of South Florida, where I studied anatomy and physiology alongside medical students. Later, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and became a Registered Nurse, driven by my desire to help people heal.

After five years of balancing nursing and massage therapy, I realized where my true passion lay, in helping people move better, feel better, and live pain-free through bodywork. From that point forward, I dedicated myself fully to my practice and continuing education.

I’ve since specialized in John Barnes Myofascial Release, Upledger Craniosacral Therapy, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage, combining these advanced techniques with my clinical experience to create a holistic, medically informed approach to healing and mobility.

In October 2023, I relocated to Fort Mill, South Carolina, expanding Holly’s Bodyworx to serve the greater Charlotte area. This move marked an exciting new chapter — bringing my passion for therapeutic bodywork to a new community and continuing my mission of helping people restore balance, relieve pain, and move with greater freedom.

My Background

What Sets Us Apart

At Holly’s Bodyworx, the experience goes far beyond a traditional massage.

Each session is therapeutic, personalized, and medically informed, and designed to address the root cause of pain and restriction rather than offering only temporary relief.

Medically Based Approach

With over 25 years of massage therapy experience and 9 years as a Registered Nurse, I combines the best of clinical knowledge and holistic care. Every session draws from an understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical science — offering a depth of care not typically found in standard spa settings.

Advanced Therapeutic Techniques

I specialize in John Barnes Myofascial Release, Upledger Craniosacral Therapy, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage — powerful techniques proven to release deep fascial restrictions, enhance mobility, improve circulation, and support the body’s natural healing process.

These methods go far beyond traditional massage by addressing structural imbalances, chronic pain, scar tissue, and post-surgical recovery at their source.

Individualized Assessments & Follow-Up Care

Every new client begins with a postural and mobility assessment to identify areas of imbalance. I create a customized treatment plan, provide targeted home stretches or self-care recommendations, and follow up after the session to ensure lasting results. This is a level of care rarely offered in typical massage environments.

Ideal for Athletes and Chronic Pain Clients

Whether you’re an athlete seeking to enhance performance and prevent injury or someone living with chronic pain or limited mobility, Holly’s integrative techniques help improve flexibility, reduce tension, and promote long-term balance.

Specialized Post-Operative & Lymphatic Support

Holly offers Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) for post-surgical and wellness clients — helping to reduce swelling, speed recovery, and improve immune function.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, rhythmic technique that helps stimulate the lymphatic system to:

  • Reduce post-surgical swelling and inflammation

  • Speed up healing and recovery

  • Detoxify the body by encouraging lymph flow

  • Support the immune system

  • Promote relaxation and a sense of lightness

Personalized, One-on-One Care

Unlike busy spas, Holly’s Bodyworx is a private, single-practitioner practice, allowing for unhurried, attentive care in a calm and therapeutic environment. Each client receives Holly’s full focus, ensuring every session is purposeful, restorative, and deeply healing.
